Trust God Cry Repeat : Awesome Reminders in God’s Word to Help You Hold on

Day 1-TRUST GOD

Imagine being at a point in life where nothing is going as planned. Suddenly, everything is shambles. Now, to have to watch the very thing you prayed for be squadded to another city without you; Leaving you with only prayer, your spouse and these three words: Trust God Cry Repeat. We had a million questions. There were a million protocols for each activity. So much waiting all to be told that she had to have yet another test before we got definitive answers on what was really going on with our sweet baby Nora. Our fears were mounting as we waited some more. The Echocardiogram was complete, and they told us an expert from our Children’s Hospital was on his way to answer all the remaining questions were had. We took the time to pray, and trust God that the answers would be enough to clear up the misunderstanding. The specialist came in and surprised us with having to repeat Nora’s scans. Then we were handed a diagram of a heart marked normal, which sent a chill down my spine. Then he handed us a diagram marked Nora’s heart. He then explained that all her major pulmonary veins were incorrectly connected to the right atrium of the heart. She had a life-threatening condition called TAPVR TYPE 1. He exclaimed that she was blessed to have an additional hole in her heart wall. It helped keep her alive. If the hole were not there, she would have probably died in utero. Her blood was not circulating throughout her heart due to this defect. Her blood was just being dumped in the same place repeatedly. It was like being in a movie. I heard him up until this point. Then I just saw his mouth moving and I zoned out. I was so dumfounded. Nora will need open heart surgery immediately with a survival rate was high after surgery, but we needed understand that she could die from surgery, but without surgery, she would definitely die. My heart busted open and floored my eyes.

If one word can be used to sum up this year is UNEXPECTED. God however is not caught off guard by this year and is to be trusted. Will you trust Christ with your uncertainties today?

Day 2   Cry

Knocked to your knees

Devasted by the unknown. Does this sound your life right now? We found ourselves. Going through the continual scenario’s on whether if Nora would make it or not. They prepared her for transport via Careflight to another city about an hour away. So many preparations, and I have not been cleared to be discharged yet. The transport team wheeled her in to see us before departure. She was now stable enough to go by ambulance instead of Careflight. We were surprised to see her on oxygen. My husband held us both and prayed over her. I could not bare the thought of her being in a whole different hospital. I had a new motivation, C-section or not I was leaving the same day.

What has this year thrown at you that has knocked you to your knees? Are you muddling through the lose of loved ones? Lose of a job? Lose of a home, or child?

Maybe its none of those things, but you have no peace, and are unable to sleep at night. Maybe its fear that is invading your day to day life. Whatever it is, Jesus Christ is the answer to your struggles. Will you trust Him through the tears?

Prayer

Lord, I pray that every tear that this reader is shedding in this season of life will be wiped away as they look to you for healing, comfort, peace, and guidance. You care about them deeply, and their hurts. Pick them up as they navigate through the craziness of life in Jesus name Amen!

And there is no doubt without you God that morning may never come for her

You called this miracle into being my faith is fearing while her life is fleeing, I’m pleading don’t let go

May her legacy not end Here Where it began here only 2 days ago

My broken hearted but dearly beloved our praying is what’s holding us up

I’m hurting but

God but I’m kneeling no false words

And no fake appealing.

Realizing

I don’t know the end from beginning

I am hanging on

Now only time will tell

But for now on I will I will

Day 4

You are not alone

“My Plea to You”

You have gotten a brief glimpse into one of the toughest years of our lives. As I write we are facing another challenge whether to cower and panic or choose to find a sense of normalcy. I hope and pray that you picked up on a constant theme. Spoiler alert: It is the title of this reading plan. I pray you and your family or friends practice it over and over as you live this life. Whether you are a young woman who has never given your life to the Lord or a woman who has been walking with Him for decades. Maybe you are somewhere in between. I challenge you to endure hardness as a good soldier. (2 Timothy 2:3) To go through the joys, the ups, the downs, the loss of loved ones, and fight to just live as a God-honoring mother. If you do not know Jesus as your personal savior; I encourage you to close this plan out and call out to Jesus! Tell Him what is on your mind and heart. Tell Him the truth of fear that is mounting every second you watch the news. Trade your fear for peace, renewal, and salvation. Remind yourself that you are a dinner repenting and need of a Savior today. Right now, where you are. You did not read this plan by coincidence, or as a favor to a friend. God knows you. He knows that you have been hard- pressed by life. He knows that giving up is the current alluring lie from satan. Know that I am praying that this plan meets you where you are and leads you back to a growing relationship with Jesus.

God is bigger than this too. I challenge you to Trust God as You Cry and Repeat

Daily Scriptures:

Hebrews 13:5- Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for he has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”

Psalms 46:7- The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress. Selah

Psalms 55:22- Cast your burden on the LORD, and he will sustain you; he will never permit the righteous to be moved.

Psalms 73:28- But for me it is good to be near God; I have made the Lord GOD my refuge, that I may tell of all your works.

Romans 8:31-38-

31What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who is against us? 32He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him over for us all, how will He not also with Him freely give us all things? 33Who will bring a charge against God’s elect? God is the one who justifies; 34who is the one who condemns? Christ Jesus is He who died, yes, rather who was raised, who is at the right hand of God, who also intercedes for us. 35Who will separate us from the love of Christ? Will tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?

36Just as it is written,

         “FOR YOUR SAKE WE ARE BEING PUT TO DEATH ALL DAY LONG;

WE WERE CONSIDERED AS SHEEP TO BE SLAUGHTERED.”

37But in all these things we overwhelmingly conquer through Him who loved us. 38For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, 39nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

John 14:27- Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.

Psalms 34:18- The LORD is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit.
