Control Your Heart

Have you ever been innocently having a conversation with someone and it turns into a weird dialog? That’s what we’re gonna talk about today and more.

Dare to not compare.

We as women of God have to be able to celebrate other ladies accomplishments genuinely.

The promotions, babies, or advancements/accomplishments. Submission to their husband, and everything that glorifies God from a place of contentment.

Ladies, have you seen how

conversations seem to go awry in seconds? Let me give you an example.

We just finished our 8th year of homeschool. When you talk to some ladies about it goes a little like this.

Girl, I can’t wait to get done.

We have one week left and it quickly turns into reasons from the other person of why they aren’t gonna be done yet or that’s good but not everyone can do that. Weird shift right.

Let’s celebrate one another genuinely.

Another instance that strikes a different cord is when life throws weird hard hurdles into the equation.

For instance I was talking to a friend about how hard it can be to celebrate others blessings of children while wanting to have a child or wanting to continue your family after miscarriages. I shared about two separate times where I had just privately experienced a miscarriage and seconds later got a baby shower invitation in the mail or the time I miscarried and on the way out of the room got a birth announcement from my dear friend.  I had emotions yes, but I had to pray to ask God for right perspective. I prayed for me to be genuinely happy for them . Truly asking God to bless them and provide them with everything they needed.

We need to reclaim the Biblical womanhood standards once and for all.

Coming alongside each other. Encouraging other women to encourage other women.

We all need to be able to have freeing well listened to unguarded  conversations without fearing the competitive wall.

The world encourages competition. Christ does not say compare ourselves with one another because comparision kills. The world says from the time you put your feet on the floor there is a war waged with any woman you encounter that day. You gotta look perfect , act “perfect”, be perfect by the wordly standards.

Christ tells us to handle our own homes, love our own husbands and children. Christ says don’t gossip and He discourages being a busy body.

Let’s go to scriptures for encouragement on how to govern our focus.

If then you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God.

‭Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth. For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ who is your life appears, then you also will appear with him in glory.   Put to death therefore what is earthly in you:  sexual immorality, impurity, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry. On account of these the wrath of God is coming.  In these you too once walked, when you were living in them. But now you must put them all away: anger, wrath, malice, slander, and obscene talk from your mouth. Do not lie to one another, seeing that you have put off the old self with its practices and have put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge after the image of its creator. Colossians 3:1-‬10 ESV

Christ makes us content.

We all need each other. We can help rebuild from the ruins that  Feminism’s sadistic trapping caused allowing distorted principles to seep into every facet of life.

We can have the togetherness that the Bible describes. We can have ladies to turn to in times of need. To help watch each others backs. To be praying for one another, and towing the line of true Biblical Womanhood.  Christian women imitating Christ not the world.

Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful. And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near. Hebrews 10:23‭-‬25 ESV

Love the Lord, all you his saints! The Lord preserves the faithful but abundantly repays the one who acts in pride. Be strong, and let your heart take courage, all you who wait for the Lord! Psalm 31:23‭-‬24 ESV

Do you really want Christ?

Do you really want Christ? Getting to the bottom of true Biblical Womanhood

Let’s dive in!

A want usually saturates every area of your life. Let me explain. Take myself for an example. I started my health journey at my heaviest 336lbs and wearing a 4x . I wanted to be overweight because I allowed myself to get this way. That was a hard truth to swallow. I worked diligently for many years at unhealthiness. I ate whatever. I had kids without working out after or during. I got more and more sedatary. I sabotaged myself, and slathered shame and guilt on top of it all and gained even more. I lacked self- control. I subscribed to satan’s web of lies podcast and listened intently with every live deception he tried. I surrounded myself with everything I needed to stay unhealthy.

My new want was to be His and submitted to wanting health. Wanting flexibility.  Wanting vigor, and the ability to play and fight. My attitude changed. My attire changed. My food and drinks changed. My desires changed. My level of activity changed from sedatary to active. I soon demonstrated a person whose desire is to be fit, and my husband and I are continuing these things. I now am wearing an XL. I have a big weigh in planned for December.

It wasn’t until I wanted to change, and ask God to heal me of the undelying reasons why I was stagnant.

What does this have to do with Biblical Womanhood you may ask? Everything because many of us claim to be Christians and advocates for Biblical Womanhood but not wanting God to be evident in every area of our lives.

Rom. 6:16-18– Do you not know that if you present yourselves to anyone as obedient slaves, you are slaves of the one whom you obey, either of sin, which leads to death, or of obedience, which leads to righteousness? But thanks be to God, that you who were once slaves of sin have become obedient from the heart to the standard of teaching to which you were committed, and, having been set free from sin, have become slaves of righteousness.

*Are you concerned about what God thinks?

1 Cor. 6:19-Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body.

1 Cor. 9:24-27– Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one receives the prize? So run that you may obtain it. Every athlete exercises self-control in all things. They do it to receive a perishable wreath, but we an imperishable. So I do not run aimlessly; I do not box as one beating the air. But I discipline my body and keep it under control, lest after preaching to others I myself should be disqualified.

Chaste/Submissive/Disciplined/Nurturing /Modest

Older women likewise are to be reverent in behavior, not slanderers or slaves to much wine. They are to teach what is good, and so train the young women to love their husbands and children, to be self-controlled, pure, working at home, kind, and submissive to their own husbands, that the word of God may not be reviled. Titus 2:3‭-‬5 ESV

Discreet-Like a gold ring in a pig’s snout is a beautiful woman without discretion. Proverbs 11:22 ESV

Wise

The wisest of women builds her house, but folly with her own hands tears it down. Proverbs 14:1 ESV

Trained: For the moment all discipline seems painful rather than pleasant, but later it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it. Hebrews 12:11 ESV

Prayerful.Confident not in ourselves but in the ability of the Lord.

Obedient to God first then to our husbands.

What went wrong ? Many things but to hit on a few.

Without Natural affection

And since they did not see fit to acknowledge God, God gave them up to a debased mind to do what ought not to be done. They were filled with all manner of unrighteousness, evil, covetousness, malice. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, maliciousness. They are gossips, slanderers, haters of God, insolent, haughty, boastful, inventors of evil, disobedient to parents, foolish, faithless, heartless, ruthless. Though they know God’s righteous decree that those who practice such things deserve to die, they not only do them but give approval to those who practice them. Romans 1:28‭-‬32 ESV

I am Pro- life!

Headlines reading:

Precious babies -Aborted found in containers discarded like trash.

California and many places agree to make a law that says aborting is legal until 28 days after a baby is born. There are videoes and interviews surfacing for some calling for death up until 10 months old.

Things are growing darker ladies. We who are children of God need to be the lights in this world shining brighter, exposing darkness, and sharing Jesus like never before!

Now the Spirit expressly says that in later times some will depart from the faith by devoting themselves to deceitful spirits and teachings of demons, through the insincerity of liars whose consciences are seared, 1 Timothy 4:1‭-‬2 ESV

But understand this, that in the last days there will come times of difficulty. For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not loving good, treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having the appearance of godliness, but denying its power. Avoid such people. For among them are those who creep into households and capture weak women, burdened with sins and led astray by various passions, always learning and never able to arrive at a knowledge of the truth. 2 Timothy 3:1‭-‬7 ESV

So I restate the question. Do you want Christ? Let this question permeate your heart, minds, and souls today and forever. God bless you and remember to trust God Cry Repeat.

Sad day in History

Help us Lord. You are soon to return.
This bill allows legally murdering a baby up to 28 days old.

There are six things that the Lord hates, seven that are an abomination to him: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked plans, feet that make haste to run to evil, a false witness who breathes out lies, and one who sows discord among brothers.
Proverbs 6:16‭-‬19 ESV
