An important fact to start with is this… if people can be caught up in a spirit of fear they can be easily controlled.

Ps 27:1

The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?

Denouncing the spirit of fear

Hidden Fear can be exploited by the enemy. 

He wants to blackmail you.

This is why truthfulness is important!

Truthfulness takes his options down to none.

Dont give him any ammo to use against you.

Fear paralyzes you. If you aren’t moving forward how can you accomplish what Christ has set out for you to do?

The truth of God’s Word sets us free. 

Truth frees us in ways nothing else can.

Know your Word ladies!

Rom 8:35-39

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword? As it is written, “For your sake we are being killed all the day long; we are regarded as sheep to be slaughtered.” No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. I heard a helpful hint this weekend that I want to share. 

Don’t start with your problems… start with the Word of God 

Word of God should be the very thing we filter everything in our life through!

God is love

1 John 4:18

There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. For fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not been perfected in love.

There is no fear in the presence of God!

Matt 10:28And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather fear him who can destroy both soul and body in hell.

I want to stress that satan is the father of lies. He is not to be trusted.

Fear is a Liar!

The light of the Lord extinguishes darkness 

Ps 27:2-6

When evildoers assail me to eat up my flesh, my adversaries and foes,? it is they who stumble and fall. Though an army encamp against me, my heart shall not fear; though war arise against me, yet I will be confident. One thing have I asked of the Lord, that will I seek after: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the Lord and to inquire in his temple. For he will hide me in his shelter in the day of trouble; he will conceal me under the cover of his tent; he will lift me high upon a rock. And now my head shall be lifted up above my enemies all around me, and I will offer in his tent sacrifices with shouts of joy; I will sing and make melody to the Lord.

 When anxiety, depression, and complacency occurs * Lean on the Lord.

I sought the Lord, and he answered me and delivered me from all my fears. Psalm 34:4 ESV

He is the sav that heals through and through to the uttermost parts

Give Him access to all of you no matter how dirty you think it is.

What stirs up your affections for the Lord?

After a busy productive week the day had come to enjoy my son’s 1st Christian theatrical performance.

The enemy kept trying push me into fear to steal and destroy things in my life. He kept pushing the thought that I wouldn’t make through the end of the day. This was 5 days ago by the way.

I had to resist the devil so he would flee. 

I had the choice to listen and give life to his lies or do as in 2 Cor. 10:3-6 For though we walk in the flesh, we are not waging war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to destroy strongholds. We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ, being ready to punish every disobedience, when your obedience is complete.

2 Corinthians 10:3‭-‬6 ESV

Ladies, all you that are blood bought believers remember that no form of evil including the Antichrist can ever prosper against the power of Jesus Christ. 

so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Philippians 2:10‭-‬11 ESV

I believe that I shall look upon the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living! Wait for the Lord; be strong, and let your heart take courage; wait for the Lord!

I want to encourage you ladies to wait with anticipation on the Lord.

Use the Word to repeat and rehearse. Don’t give your God given power and authority to satan to exploit and misuse.
