Let’s talk about the prophet before his disobedience. God used him to deliver a word from the Lord, and to heal Jeroboams’ withered hand.

The Prophet’s Disobedience

11 Now an old prophet lived in Bethel. And his sons[a] came and told him all that the man of God had done that day in Bethel. They also told to their father the words that he had spoken to the king. 12 And their father said to them, “Which way did he go?” And his sons showed him the way that the man of God who came from Judah had gone. 13 And he said to his sons, “Saddle the donkey for me.” So they saddled the donkey for him and he mounted it. 14 And he went after the man of God and found him sitting under an oak. And he said to him, “Are you the man of God who came from Judah?” And he said, “I am.” 15 Then he said to him, “Come home with me and eat bread.” 16 And he said, “I may not return with you, or go in with you, neither will I eat bread nor drink water with you in this place, 17 for it was said to me by the word of the Lord, ‘You shall neither eat bread nor drink water there, nor return by the way that you came.’” 18 And he said to him, “I also am a prophet as you are, and an angel spoke to me by the word of the Lord, saying, ‘Bring him back with you into your house that he may eat bread and drink water.’” But he lied to him. 19 So he went back with him and ate bread in his house and drank water.

20 And as they sat at the table, the word of the Lord came to the prophet who had brought him back. 21 And he cried to the man of God who came from Judah, “Thus says the Lord, ‘Because you have disobeyed the word of the Lord and have not kept the command that the Lord your God commanded you, 22 but have come back and have eaten bread and drunk water in the place of which he said to you, “Eat no bread and drink no water,” your body shall not come to the tomb of your fathers.’” 23 And after he had eaten bread and drunk, he saddled the donkey for the prophet whom he had brought back. 24 And as he went away a lion met him on the road and killed him. And his body was thrown in the road, and the donkey stood beside it; the lion also stood beside the body. 25 And behold, men passed by and saw the body thrown in the road and the lion standing by the body. And they came and told it in the city where the old prophet lived.

26 And when the prophet who had brought him back from the way heard of it, he said, “It is the man of God who disobeyed the word of the Lord; therefore the Lord has given him to the lion, which has torn him and killed him, according to the word that the Lord spoke to him.” 27 And he said to his sons, “Saddle the donkey for me.” And they saddled it. 28 And he went and found his body thrown in the road, and the donkey and the lion standing beside the body. The lion had not eaten the body or torn the donkey. 29 And the prophet took up the body of the man of God and laid it on the donkey and brought it back to the city[b] to mourn and to bury him. 30 And he laid the body in his own grave. And they mourned over him, saying, “Alas, my brother!” 31 And after he had buried him, he said to his sons, “When I die, bury me in the grave in which the man of God is buried; lay my bones beside his bones. 32 For the saying that he called out by the word of the Lord against the altar in Bethel and against all the houses of the high places that are in the cities of Samaria shall surely come to pass.”

33 After this thing Jeroboam did not turn from his evil way, but made priests for the high places again from among all the people. Any who would, he ordained to be priests of the high places. 34 And this thing became sin to the house of Jeroboam, so as to cut it off and to destroy it from the face of the earth.

Ladies, so many people want to claim that they are an authority, and that they speak for God. However, they are leading many astray. God will never direct and lead you to be an authority over your husbands. He will honor His own order concerning you and your households.  He will start with your head which is your husband. Anything else is out of order and needs to be repented of and restored back to its proper godly order. We are to nurture, love, and help raise our children to know and obey the Lord.

Regardless of what anyone else says listen and obey what God tells you in His word. Not what Priscilla Shirer tells you. Not what Joyce Meyers tells you. Not what Beth Moore says. Not what Furlick tells you or anyone else that conflicts with our Almighty God!!!!!!

Ladies! Waging war is going against the world by living out Biblical standards.

We are wives till death do us part. We are women for all eternity. It is so many agendas vying for our attention. Let’s stand therefore!

Now is the time to make sure that we aren’t seduced by the dangerous lures of satan. Much like the prophet in scripture we can trust the wolves in sheep’s clothing of this present age. The Pro-Choicer, Hebrew Israelites, Jehovah witnesses, Mormon, 5 percenters, Feminist and everyone else pretending to be a religious leader.

 

But understand this, that in the last days there will come times of difficulty. For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not loving good, treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having the appearance of godliness, but denying its power. Avoid such people.

 For among them are those who creep into households and capture weak(silly) women, burdened with sins and led astray by various passions, always learning and never able to arrive at a knowledge of the truth.

2 Timothy 3:1–7 ESV

I want say this clearly! Sin will not go unpunished even though many are promoting and participating in sin. Understand that there will be a reckoning before the Lord God Almighty.

No matter the agenda satan is pushing. No matter the soft serve world affirming theology some Christians are perpetuating.

Gods Authority is what matters. God’s truth is the only truth. And no one can escape the wrath of God coming for those who are not living for Him.

Philippians 2:10-11

^10 (A)that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, ¹¹ and ^(B)that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the father.

No one can get around it. No ideology no lifestyle no curriculum no stance no bumper sticker, nothing will avoid this.

I want to caution you that what I’m going to share next will be hard to say and hear. Here we go.

We are to do what’s best for our children per the Bible not per the culture. We are to do things which are morally and intentionally for God. This reminds me of the accounts of children being sacrificed to Moleck. In history it depicts the sacrifices as people distracting the kids’ playing games, or in this case bribing them into destruction. And through the agonizing pain and anger of his mothers delusional push she ignored every out pour of tears and unwillingness to have the procedure. She took the rejection of the process with her psychosis and lack of natural affection and just got louder as her will rang out louder then his cries. This breaks my heart.

 

What does the Bible say about the prevalent abuse and destruction of children? Listen up-

Parents/Medical Professionals for the Mutilation of our youth, trafficking, those that fight to keep Abortion, and those backing the LGBT/Feminist agenda.

 

There are six things that the Lord hates, seven that are an abomination to him: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood,

20 No, I imply that what pagans sacrifice they offer to demons and not to God. I do not want you to be participants with demons.

Psalm 127:3-4 ESV

³ Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord,
    the fruit of the womb a reward.
⁴ Like arrows in the hand of a warrior
    are the children^[a] of one’s youth.

Instead, the world wants us to

 break off the arrow heads filing down any remnants of a God given identity while extinguishing any opportunities for a god given right to a godly legacy. 

The Bible says-

Proverbs 17:6 ESV

⁶ Grandchildren are the crown of the aged,
    and the glory of children is their fathers.

 Glory to the Most- High God for the overturning of Roe v Wade. May all repent and turn to Christ. Keep fighting there will be push back but God is with you like in

Psalm 18:29– For by you I can run against a troop, and by my God I can leap over a wall.
