Does this resemble any parts of your life this year.

Life, as we know it has changed forever, and by no means do I want to allow COVID or politics to invade another area of my life or yours. 
Today, it is all about Jesus! Ladies, and what he has for us.

REASON

Let us tackle the reason why I felt led to come to you in the first place. This time one year ago the Lord laid on my heart that women in the body of Christ are in a mode of existing rather than Thriving.

ACT OF SURVIVING

He explained that so many women are so overextended that surviving through school, until bedtime, or surviving until the weekend were the main goals.
If that was the case for all many are getting stuck in the continual loop of steal, kill, and destroy. 

All targets from satan to steal your peace, kill your joy, and destroy your contentment, leaving you week after week wondering if you are making an impact. Wondering if what you do truly matters. 
Well, I am here to tell you that you are so important in your families lives and the enemy cannot have any of what is mine without a fight and you shouldn’t let him have anything either. Its praying and confession time ladies. Let’s thirst for the living water that never runs dry. It’s time to thrive. 
THRIVE. 

DEFINITION:

Thriving- is to grow vigorously let’s unpack this the Bible says 

“Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord ,  whose trust is the Lord .   He is like a tree planted by water, that sends out its roots by the stream, and does not fear when heat comes, for its leaves remain green, and is not anxious in the year of drought, for it does not cease to bear fruit.”

Jeremiah 17:7-8 ESV

Satan is sucking the life out of us, and it needs to stop!

Trust – Firm belief in the integrity, ability, or character of a person. 

Fear- an unpleasant often strong emotion caused by anticipation or awareness of danger. 

Heat- literal heat or the trials/issues of living day to day.

Anxiety- distress or uneasiness of mind caused by fear of danger or misfortune: whether founded on something concrete or based off of a theory.

Drought- a period of dryness especially when prolonged; specifically : one that causes extensive damage that prevents successful growth.

Green- signs of life. Think of the first budding plant of the season. It brings that anticipation of all things beautiful.

Fruit- evidence of life, the evidence of spiritual growth.

Many are putting in dead hollow seeds expecting to see lively things. There is no solution without the power of Christ.

So let’s continue to unpack-Trust God Cry Repeat 

The Lord gave my husband and these words in some of the hardest times of our life. It’s more than just a title to a book it’s a reminder that Jesus Christ is not moved by ANYTHING including the Rona. He is not hiding among the stuff He is still alive. He is unmovable.  He is still a very present help in times of need. He is going before us to clear the way for us. He sees the struggle of 2020, and He is waiting for the women of God to dedicate themselves to Pray! Pray like never before! There are witches praying around the clock for satans agenda to flourish. They are relying on the distractions in media to keep us too preoccupied to call on the name of Jesus. Let us heed the Word of God to not be ignorant of the devil’s devices.  Open your Word to study to show yourself approved. Be vigilant with our children because issues are being pushed that would put kids in the laps of pedophiles. 

Let’s be honest:

If we aren’t growing, we are dying. 
Ask God to revive us. Call on Jesus ask him to let our greatest desire this year to be a pursuit of Him above all else. So, the captive can go free and eyes can be opened.

2 Timothy 4:3-5 says

For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions, and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander off into myths. As for you, always be sober-minded, endure suffering, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry.

It is time out for passivity open our mouths and risk the stares and worship God. Despite our goals ending this and going into 2021 put Jesus at the top! Give God your everything.  All hesitation, all hurts all doubt all fear, for the best trade which is more of Jesus and Peace. Let our allegiance to Christ be firm and unwavering. Jesus, we need you, and will need you more than ever before. As we close as I hand it over to Cathy to give us ending remarks.
