I seem to be in a pruning, and testing season of life. Fighting, reproofing, and rebuking. Having little time for myself to refuel, or rest. Muscling through spiritual warfare daily. Refusing to fall prey to the lies of satan. Gripping the Word of God so hard that I promise I’m making an indentation.
Life is so different, but nothing will separate me from the love of God. Ladies,
There is strength in fellowshiping with another blood bought believer. I was to the point of tears because of the constant loop of pressing issues, and I was feeling weary. So, I opened up the Word of God to Psalms chapter 46, and there I found just what I needed to press on.
God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear though the earth gives way, though the mountains be moved into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam, though the mountains tremble at its swelling. Selah There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God, the holy habitation of the Most High. God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved; God will help her when morning dawns. The nations rage, the kingdoms totter; he utters his voice, the earth melts. The Lord of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress. Selah Come, behold the works of the Lord , how he has brought desolations on the earth. He makes wars cease to the end of the earth; he breaks the bow and shatters the spear; he burns the chariots with fire. “Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!” The Lord of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress. Selah
Psalm 46:1-11 ESV
The lies of satan may have you thinking that despite your best efforts your family seems to be in a gauntlet of chaos,or you should walk away because someone would do a better job. You feel broken and confused………
Satan is a liar! He is threatened by your stance for Christ. He is unleashing all he knows because he knows his time is about up. Let God stir up your affections for Him. Feast on His Word. Trust Him through the uncertainties of 2020. Cry when you’ve done all you know to do,but life demands more. Then repeat until the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4:7 ESV
He can be trusted!!!!!!!
Your tears matter to the Lord!
You have kept count of my tossings; put my tears in your bottle. Are they not in your book? Then my enemies will turn back in the day when I call. This I know, that God is for me. In God, whose word I praise, in the Lord , whose word I praise, in God I trust; I shall not be afraid. What can man do to me?
Psalm 56:8-11 ESV
Trust God Cry Repeat
